7 Months Old

Zoë is 7 months old today. She is growing so fast. She is finally well again, not sick. But on the other hand we are going to get shots on Friday. She has two bottom front teeth and she is cutting the top 4 front teeth. She is trying to hold a cup and starting to feed herself finger foods. She loves mashed potatoes, green beans, dumplings, buscuits, toast, eggs, and grits from Mommy's plate.

Celine Dion

G and I are going to see Celine tonight at the BJCC. I am so excited and ready to be there. On the down side, I am leaving my little one for the night with my parents. I know they will have a wonderful time with her, but I just hate being away from her. I am looking forward to the night out though. I guess I have mixed emotions. I hope we have a blast at the concert!

6 Months and Sickness

Zoë is 6 months old and finally sitting up good, but she does topple over from time to time. We have to keep pillow behind her so she doesn't hit her head on our hard wood floors. She has cut her bottom 2 front teeth and she is biting everything, particularly her spoon at mealtimes. She is still not interested in holding her bottle or crawling. I keep trying, but to no avail thus far. Part of that may be due to the fact that she has been sick since 12/30. She has RSV, respiratory syncytial virus, and we are doing breathing treatments every 4 hours. Plus she has bilateral ear infections. Genia and I have been sick as well. We are so ready for all 3 of us to be well again. This is why it has taken me so long to upload any Christmas pics.
